Deleting Your Account and Data

Last updated June 29, 2026

You can request deletion of your Fieldpost account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to do it, what gets removed, and how long it takes.

Deleting Your Account in the Mobile App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the Fieldpost mobile app:

  1. Open the app and go to Settings
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  3. Review the warning so you understand what will be removed
  4. Type your email address to confirm it’s really you
  5. Tap Delete Account and confirm

Once confirmed, you’ll be signed out immediately and deletion will be processed.

What Gets Deleted Depends on Your Role

What happens when you delete your account depends on whether you’re a company owner or a member/admin.

If you’re a member or admin

Your account is removed from your company, and your personal data — your name, email, and profile photo — is anonymized and deleted. Projects, photos, and notes that belong to the company remain with the company so your teammates can keep working.

If you’re the company owner

Deleting your account deletes the entire company, including all projects, photos, videos, notes, reports, and every team member’s access. Any active subscription is cancelled immediately. Company data is permanently removed within 7 days.

Requesting Deletion by Email

If you can’t access the mobile app — for example, you only use the web dashboard — you can request account and data deletion by email:

  1. Email hello@fieldposthq.com from the email address associated with your Fieldpost account
  2. Use the subject line “Account Deletion Request”
  3. We’ll verify your identity and process the deletion

We aim to action email deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your request.

What Data Is Removed and Retained

When your account is deleted:

  • Removed: your name, email address, profile photo, and login credentials. For owners, all company content (projects, photos, videos, notes, reports) is removed within 7 days.
  • Retained briefly: for owners, company data is retained for up to 7 days during a grace period before permanent removal. Some records may be retained longer where required by law (for example, billing and tax records).
